Congratulations to our IB Graduates of 2016! With 41 full diplomas and a 92% exam pass rate, the class of 2016 continued the tradition of academic excellence at Mission Viejo High School. Mission Viejo's IB program continues to demonstrate that dedicated students and a world class, rigorous curriculum produces some of the finest graduates in the state. As the graduates from 2016 move on to Universities such as Harvard, Princeton, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, and SMU, (to name a few), we look forward to the continued success of our current diploma and anticipated IB candidates.

The Diploma Programme is a rigorous pre-university course of study designed for students in the 16 to 18 year old age range. It is a broad-based two-year course that aims to encourage students to be knowledgeable and inquiring, but also caring and compassionate. There is a strong emphasis on encouraging students to develop intercultural understanding, open-mindedness, and the attitudes necessary for them to respect and evaluate a range of points of view.
